One day when I was there and the buffet wasn't too busy, one of the chef's behind the pizza station as what kind of pizza I liked - super hot and super spicy was my response. I'm vegetarian and love the selections they offer, including the huge salad bar. The Buffet is really good offers lots of good stations: Oriental, Mexican, Italian, and American (meat & potatoes). The Corner Grill is typical fried food fare and was pretty tasty. Harrah's Rincon has a variety of restaurants, but I've only tried 3 of them. The only complaint I heard from them is that it doesn't show a price for the beverages. I'm a lightweight and just drink pop, but my friends are drinkers and love the fact that they can order ANY kind of drink using the touch screen menu and it's delivered right to the machine. Also nice is the 'on-machine drink ordering'. The best part.the games pay out! I've never been lucky enough to hit a HUGE jackpot, but I've come home with a few hundred bucks here and there.

I also like that they are constantly adding new and exciting games. An awesome selection of penny machines, which are my favorite. I don't play table games, but the assortment of slot machines is really nice. Closest thing to Vegas-style that I have seen. On my next trip (in Feb) I will be trying out a Suite - I will have to report back! :) The gaming area is great. The room is modern and has nice amenities, including a flat screen tv, large tub and a nice seating area. The Garden Tower with a pool view, is my top choice. The Spa Tower has normal, run-of-the mill rooms that are perfect for an overnight stay. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and affordable. The rewards are very generous and the employees working the rewards counter are always willing to help with any questions. The staff is top notch and extremely friendly and accommodating. I've frequented several of the hotels/casinos in the San Diego area and Harrah's Rincon is EASILY the best of the bunch.
